Project Overview
A custom product manufacturing studio came to us drowning in paper. Managers received orders through Instagram, printed them out, and at the end of each day handed stacks of paper to the production floor. Orders crawled through five stages — order received, processing, material preparation, assembly, and shipping — taking 2-3 days to complete. The production team had no visibility into incoming work until paper arrived. Managers had no idea what was happening on the floor until they walked over and asked. We digitized their entire workflow. Orders now flow automatically from CRM to production the moment they're confirmed. Workers see their tasks on screens and mobile devices, with the system guiding them through each step. When one stage completes, the next stage is notified instantly. Managers watch the entire production floor in real-time, seeing exactly where every order stands. The result: order fulfillment dropped from 2-3 days to 4-16 hours. No more waiting for end-of-day paper handoffs. No more walking to the floor to check status. No more orders getting lost in the shuffle.
Key Features
Real-Time Production Dashboard
Managers see all orders and their current stage on a live dashboard. No more walking to the floor to check status — everything is visible in real-time with instant updates via WebSockets
Worker Mobile & Web Apps
Production workers access their tasks through web terminals and mobile devices. The system tells them exactly what to do next and which orders to prioritize. One tap to mark a stage complete and notify the next team
Automated Stage Transitions
Orders automatically move through the five production stages. When assembly marks an order complete, shipping is instantly notified. No delays, no paper handoffs, no orders sitting in limbo
CRM Integration
Two-way sync with the client's existing CRM. Orders flow in automatically, status updates flow back. Managers see production progress right in their CRM without switching systems
Challenges & Solutions
Orders arrived on paper at end of day. Production couldn't start until next morning. 2-3 day fulfillment time was killing customer satisfaction
Digital order flow with instant notifications. Orders hit the production floor the moment they're confirmed. Fulfillment time dropped to 4-16 hours
No visibility into production status. Managers had to physically walk to the floor and ask workers about order progress
Real-time dashboard showing every order's current stage. WebSocket updates mean managers see status changes the instant they happen
Workers didn't know what to prioritize. Orders piled up with no clear sequence, leading to missed deadlines and chaos
Smart task queue that tells workers exactly what to do next. System prioritizes based on deadlines and order value. Clear, guided workflow at every stage
